The father of "Heroes" actress Hayden Panettiere has pleaded no contest to one count of misdemeanor battery after assaulting his wife on Aug. 11.Beverly Hills Superior Court Judge Marsha Revel sentenced Alan Lee Panettiere, 49, to 24 months probation, ordered him to complete 52 weeks of domestic violence counseling and ordered him to pay $400 in fines. The judge also issued a protective order requiring that the defendant not harm or annoy the victim.
Panettiere was arrested in August after he allegedly assaulted his wife at their West Hollywood home.
