Police in Hermosa Beach arrested a man who reportedly posed as a delivery driver and stole packages from the porches of Hermosa Beach homes. Christopher Brown Porterfield, 44, was arrested late Saturday evening after a witness reported viewing someone reportedly taking packages from homes on Circle Drive.
The witness reportedly confronted Porterfield, and he said he was a delivery man. Porterfield then took off without taking the package. A witness recorded Porterfield's license number and he was arrested shortly thereafter, reportedly with stolen packages in the vehicle.
