Five teen boys in Big Bear were arrested after allegedly plotting to bring guns to school and attack both students and staff.According to authorities, the five were arrested Wednesday after other teens at Big Bear High School reportedly overheard them making suspicious comments.
A search of the teens' homes reportedly turned up drug pipes, cash and gang-related writings and pictures. Authorities reportedly did not discover any weapons in the homes.
A pair of adults were also taken into custody on unrelated charges during the searches.
