The Hayward BART Station was closed this afternoon following a shooting that wounded two people, one seriously.The shooting reportedly took place shortly after 12:30 p.m. outside the station after a group of men gathered prior to the violence breaking out.
According to authorities, a male teen came into the station and fell to the floor near an agent's booth. He was transported to a hospital with life-threatening injuries.
A second victim, reportedly a middle-aged man, was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
