After a long meeting with the mayor, the West Hollywood homeowners who displayed a mannequin dressed like Republican vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin agreed Wednesday evening to remove the figure.According to a Los Angeles County Sheriff's spokesman, Mayor Jeff Prang had a "long heart-to-heart" with the homeowners.
Earlier in the day, neighbors covered up the Palin mannequin with sheets, in what was described as a friendly protest.
