Authorities reported Tuesday evening that a woman was discovered dead outside entertainer Paula Abdul's home in Sherman Oaks.According to police, the deceased woman is believed to have been a stalker, and had reportedly been infatuated with Abdul for some time. The woman, whose death may have been a drug overdose, was discovered in her car around 6 p.m. Tuesday in the 3800 block of Beverly Ridge Drive, yards from Abdul's home.
According to TMZ, the woman's parents reported her missing to Ventura County sheriff's deputies, told them their daughter had an unnatural obsession with Abdul and that they might want to go to the celebrity's home.
TMZ identified the woman as Paula Goodspeed, who was on Season 5 of American Idol two years ago, and did not make the cut.
