A rental truck accident Sunday evening in Los Angeles sent two people to USC Medical Center with critical burn injuries.The accident happened when a Ryder truck overturned and caught fire on the southbound side of I-5 at the connector to eastbound I-10.
The accident shut down the freeway interchange in downtown for several hours, with the road reopening shortly after midnight.
