Editor's note: Police reported they have found the truck of Frances Jean Agan near Maynard Whitfield's home. Stay tuned for more updates.Authorities not only are looking for 21-year-old missing El Cajon resident Frances Jean Agan, they also want to talk with her boyfriend, 20-year-old Maynard Whitfield.
Agan went missing early Thursday morning from her El Cajon home. Her purse, cell phone and other belongings were discovered in her bedroom, where police say a window screen was cut.
Police say Whitfield is a "person of interest" in her disappearance, and that Agan had reportedly tried to break up with Whitfield recently. Family members say that Whitfield reportedly kidnapped Agan once before, but she got away from him.
Agan's truck, a 2000 Ford Ranger pickup is also missing. The plate number is (Calif.) 6H03939.
