3 San Diegans Arrested for Child Porn

Authorities have arrested three men in San Diego following a child pornography investigation.

According to the FBI's San Diego field office, San Diego residents Albert Ralph Freeman III, 24; Scott Thomas Tubbs, 37; and Norman Hall, 64; were all arrested after separate investigations.

Tubbs was arrested last Wednesday in Encinitas. He is accused of possessing material depicting child sexual conduct. He is being held on $$50,000 bail. Tubbs came under federal scrutiny after officials from Yahoo! reported that 141 images of child porn had been posted on a Yahoo Groups Web site. Investigators served a search warrant at Tubbs' home last July and seized disks that allegedly contained "18 images and five series of identified known child victims under the age of 18." Tubbs is being held on $50,000 bail.

Hall was arrested last Thursday in San Diego, and is accused of possessing material depicting child sexual conduct. Hall was investigated after he took his computer in for repairs in November 2006. According to the FBI, a tech noticed images that were believed to be child porn on the computer. Investigators said they checked his computer and said discovered 800 images of child pornography on Hall's computer. Hall is also being held on $50,000 bail.

Finally, the FBI arrested Freeman, who serves in the military, last Friday. He allegedly sported a version of a peer-to-peer file-sharing program to share and possess child porn.
