A pair of men were arrested in Carlsbad after posing as landlords for a home they did not own.
The two reportedly collected thousands of dollars from unsuspecting renters who thought the arrangement was legit.
Alexander Braslavsky, 34, and Anthony Marshall, 38, were taken into custody at the site of a vacant foreclosed home in the city. The two reportedly broke into the house and rented it on Craigslist.
Police reported the men had collected several thousand dollars in rent and security deposits from people who thought they were renting the home.
