This is a new one for bank robbers....A man wearing a George Washington-type wig held up the Union Bank branch on Laurel Street in downtown San Diego around 11:45 a.m.
The robber, a white man, 6 feet tall and possibly in his 40s, was wearing the wig, a white beard and beige floppy hat.
He reportedly presented a demand note to a teller, placed an undisclosed amount of cash into a black backpack and ran out northbound on 3rd Ave.
