A San Diego television personality pleaded no contest Monday to a misdemeanor battery charge that he struck his girlfriend last spring in a San Francisco hotel.
KUSI's Rod Luck, 58, who has covered news, sports and more on San Diego's Channel 9, was arrested on May 9 and accused of hitting his 48-year-old girlfriend. Luck has been on leave since the reported incident.
The plea agreement states that Luck, who will be required to spend 18 months on supervised probation, followed by 18 months of court probation, be sentenced to two days in jail with credit for time already served.
