Liberals Look to Flush Bush Into History

Leave it to some whackos on the left for this one.

A measure that seeks to record President Bush's years in office by placing his name on a San Francisco sewage plant has qualified for the November ballot.

The measure, which today gained certification, would rename the Oceanside Water Pollution Control Plant the George W. Bush Sewage Plant.

Supporters say the idea is to commemorate the mess they claim Bush has left behind by actions such as the war in Iraq. Meantime, area Republicans said they will work to oppose it.

Editor's Take: Like Bush or not, he is and will always be a President. Have a little more class and honor and recognize the office held. Many of us think Jimmy Carter's term in office was a four year disaster, but the man is still a President. Time for those on the left to grow up, yes?
